Welcome Pastor Mark!

Pastor Mark Heimburger comes to Faith Baptist Church with extensive pastoral ministry experience and a deep passion for seeing people encounter the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ. Originally from Greenwood, South Carolina, Mark holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Lander University and brings a unique combination of ministry leadership and real-world organizational experience to his role as Senior Pastor.

Mark's ministry journey began when he co-founded Hingepoint Church in Bakersfield, California in 2009, which grew from a small gathering of 8 people to a thriving congregation of more than 400. He has served in senior leadership roles overseeing staff, vision, and preaching, and has been formally trained in church revitalization through the Southern Baptist Convention. He is ordained through the Southern Baptist Convention and is committed to expository, Word-centered preaching that equips the body of Christ for life and mission.

Mark and his wife Chris have been married for over two decades, with Chris serving faithfully alongside him in ministry throughout that time. They are the proud parents of three sons, two adults and one still at home, and are excited to put down roots in Manchester and answer God's call to serve the Faith Baptist family.
